Alive in Christ

The battle between the flesh and spirit is a struggle the Christian knows all too well. It's like waging war on a decaying part of themselves, as Paul suggests in Romans. In many ways than one, he accurately describes the weight that sin has in this life. A nonbeliever will dive headfirst into sin, spiritually dead and undiscerning about the weight of their passionate desires. Our very nature is subject to God's wrath, but in His mercy He rescues and has provided a way back to Himself through Christ's atonement on the cross. This article will focus on the beginning of Ephesians 2 and being made alive in Christ.

Mirrored Touch

Mirror Touch Synesthesia, or mirror-touch, is "the conscious experience of tactile sensations induced by seeing someone else touched," according to PubMed.gov. It is a rare condition that stems from a part of the brain known as the "mirror-touch system." This condition is not limited to touch, however. It also sympathizes with pain as well. What if this discovery actually had a Biblical basis?

Ahh, a title that sums up the pursuit of the entire human race. Finding a true identity is the goal of every human from the moment they are born and follows them even to death. Sadly, there are those who miss out on the greatest joy of being defined by Christ by choice. True identity brings peace and fulfillment in a life that is filled to the brim in heartache and tragedy. The Attributes of God: Name Above All Names

It's hard to believe we are more than half way through the Attributes of God series already. This series has helped me to grow further in my walk with Christ and I hope it has been a similar ride for those reading and staying up to date on the series. It's truly amazing how much God allows His attributes to be studied, while not all the attributes are communicable. Caesar Vs. God: COVID 19 and the Christian

The government was established to uphold the law mentioned in the first five books of the Bible from Genesis to Deuteronomy. Due to a fallen sin nature, EVERYONE is born with, laisse-faire government and anarchy-style governments have failed. Instead of learning from history, humans fall back on pride and repeat the same mistakes. Christians are instructed to obey regulations by those who are placed in positions of authority. However, this comes with a catch: EXCEPT WHEN GOVERNING OFFICIALS ASK YOU TO SIN.
