Alive in Christ

The battle between the flesh and spirit is a struggle the Christian knows all too well. It's like waging war on a decaying part of themselves, as Paul suggests in Romans. In many ways than one, he accurately describes the weight that sin has in this life. A nonbeliever will dive headfirst into sin, spiritually dead and undiscerning about the weight of their passionate desires. Our very nature is subject to God's wrath, but in His mercy He rescues and has provided a way back to Himself through Christ's atonement on the cross. This article will focus on the beginning of Ephesians 2 and being made alive in Christ.

Mirror Touch Synesthesia, or mirror-touch, is "the conscious experience of tactile sensations induced by seeing someone else touched," according to PubMed.gov. It is a rare condition that stems from a part of the brain known as the "mirror-touch system." This condition is not limited to touch, however. It also sympathizes with pain as well. The Attributes of God: Omnipotent Creator

With great power comes great responsibility. On a human level, an increase in power usually leads a person to become selfish and irrational, often abusing their positions if humility isn’t established. Thankfully, God does not operate on a human level when it comes to divine attributes, unlike the deities in Roman and Greek mythology. He is a God of unlimited power, completely balanced by His holy attributes.

Living Sacrifice

What does it mean to be a living sacrifice? Is the Bible completely outdated in a modern world? These are only two of seemingly endless questions society asks, yet offers false answers to. The answer to the first lies in humility. We must die to self in order to live. God is clear that human nature leads to rebellion against what God has ordained as good. Since God doesn’t change, neither does His word and therefore, the Bible isn’t outdated. This article dives into being a living sacrifice for God and living life for the gratification of God’s calling over self gratification.
